Elizabeth Pinchot has been a social entrepreneur for forty years, as well as a consultant and author. In this decade she cofounded the Bainbridge Graduate Institute (BGI) and still works with its innovative MBA programs in sustainable and socially responsible business. Prior to BGI, as president of Pinchot & Company, she coached and trained senior executives in organizations as diverse as the U.S. Forest Service, the Canadian National Railroad, and the New York Stock Exchange. Pinchot also cofounded and ran several small businesses and academic programs, as well as practiced biodynamic farming. She is the coauthor, with Gifford Pinchot, of The Intelligent Organization, and a Ph.D. student in participative action research at Saybrook University.
